Series P22 of the Archives Presidential Collection contains the administrative records of John V. Lombardi, ninth president of the University of Florida, from his inauguration in 1990 to his resignation in 1999. In addition to faculty and student affairs, major topics include fundraising, proposed state legislation, budgeting, building construction, capital campaigns, the Athletic Association, affirmative action, the murders of five Gainesville area college students, and the relationship between Lombardi and the Board of Regents and the State University System.
